When I was younger my mom worked at the hospital as a nurse. As many young children do, I wanted to be just like my mom. To make this dream a reality, I started volunteering in the gift shop at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray at 14. I fell in love with the little old ladies I worked with, and decided to take it on as a year long commitment for the next four years. Once I graduated high school with my CNA, I realized that I didn’t have the passion for nursing as I had once thought I would. When the opportunity to have a paid position in the gift shop came around, I jumped at the idea and worked there for two years. After a brief hiatus in the mortgage industry I am back to what I know and love the best – gift shops!
